 Motohiro Tanji was born in Japan where he studied Fashion design at Bunka Fashion College. He continued his studies at Keio University where he wanted to explore 3D computer graphics/programming. He focused on the investigation of contemporary fashion design by using 3D geometric algorithms. After that he came to United Kingdom and studied Fashion Knitwear design at Nottingham Trent University where he continued his studies and completed his MA Fashion Knitwear Design with Distinction. He worked at knit textile company in the U.K after graduate, then he established his own label in 2012.
